Let's be honest -- what are some of the first words you might learn in a language? The curses, of course! For example, chingar was the verb in Spanish I used to learn how to properly conjugate regular -ar verbs. And I'm always fascinated which "normal" verbs end up coming to INDICATE having sex. I learned European Spanish, so I see nothing wrong

Not really, but chingar gives us chingadera, i.e., "fucker", qua "I don't care! File it, grind it, drill it, melt it…make the chingadera fit!"

In Australia my partner received a lot of laughs and odd looks when he wore a teeshirt from the Canadian clothing store chain called Roots.

Canadian French has a few:

faire le business (do the business)
enculer (to put in anus)
Mes gosses (balls, literally my gooseggs)
Mon queue (my dick)
Faire le poigne (jerk off, literally do the wrist)

And of course the analogue to "Fuck!" in the non-sexual sense is Tabarnacle. Yes, as in the church thingie. Blasphemy is all that in Canadian French.

Catalan cardar means "to card". Not having ever carded wool before, I can't really grasp the resemblance between the two activities. The more common word nowadays is follar which has the literal meaning of "to press (grapes)". Hmm, these usages make the Catalans sound like very earthy people, don't they?

We had exchange students from Peru at our high school and the verb they taught us was cachar, derived from English "catch". I'm not exactly sure of the usage--whether only one partner "catches" or if both do.
