Okay, technically, it started in December, but so far there have been three turkeys picked by Switzerland, Romania, and Albania. And then, out of nowhere, Austria says it's making a return (after insisting it could never win and leaving in a huff), and coming back with an interesting selection. They haven't picked yet, but I'm quite fond of this

I was just listening to the first (1979) album by the 1979 German folk-rock band Falckenstein (“Die Folk Rock Band des Deutschen Folk Rock Revival”). and was struck by how much it reminded me of “Falter im Wind,” one of my top 5 Eurovision entries of all time, incidentally.
