Do you miss comic writing? I miss Aadroma!
I sure do! As much as there's a part of me that loves more serious projects like portraiture, one of my childhood dreams was to draw comics for a living, and it remains even as I get older and realize how much of the standard Sunday comic fare kind of blows. so i guess i don't know this part of your history... i only know aadroma as your screen name. apparently it's also something else?

Indeed. Aadroma was a cartoon character I drew for about ten years. He wasn't the brightest guy yet was somehow a school teacher, and the comic had about a million supporting characters (including his sardonic smarter brother and his manhating sister-in-law). It was extraordinarily poorly-drawn and the jokes were always immature (one comic was full of piss puns), but its odd sense of humour was very reflective of me.

It was, but not anymore. I might upload some in the future, but some of it's rather embarrassing and serves as nothing more than an indication that yes, there was a time when I couldn't draw to save my life.
