I don't know about the hat, but the rest of his outfit looks like Hakama... something with which geta are never worn.

Yeah, I thought that was hakama too, but it doesn't seem patterned like regular hakama, and the "shape" doesn't seem the same. Also, what's with the cloth bunch by the hip? Or the hope?

Still, it looks kinda cool. And man I'd kill for a chest like that ^_-

They don't look like dress hakama, but rather like the ones that Kendo students wear.

Ok the pants are a version of the Hakama style but very loosely worn. They are too high in the leg to be true tradition unless worn in the fashion of martial arts. The cording around his neck looks like the style used in old period as to tie up ones Yukata when working or small Kimono or a current Hanten jacket. The only thing I question is the geta he is wearing. The cloth at the side could be a Hanten jacket shoved in his side.

At least the magazine editor is enjoying the spoils. geargail March 22 2009, 05:32:50 UTC
This is probably one of the joys of being a publisher.

You get to be the boss,
... and if you want something luscious on the front cover, it's notarized.

You have people crawling on their hands and knees to make sure you're happy with the content, articles, and everything else.

Then people end up inviting you to parties... and then asking, what is the next trend that's going to happen next.

All this seduction can be yours if you find a way to get people to open up their purse strings.

T.G.
