Personality: Being a Nobody, Vexen doesn't exactly have a personality to speak of. However, he still manages to show some bits of personality picked up from his past life. Most of these traits aren't really positive.

The first thing one would notice about Vexen is his overbearing pride. He thinks lowly of practically everyone that he meets, including his fellow members of the Organization. That said, he hates it when members under his rank try to order him around or say something that isn't to his liking, so he'll pull rank in any situation possible. He takes rank literally, although rank has little meaning in the Organization.

Although he has this superiority complex, he has shown signs of fear, especially when his life is in jeopardy. Due to his paranoia about being in dangerous situations and his unwillingness to dirty his own hands, he doesn't go on as many missions as the other members of the Organization do. Most of the missions that he does go on do not end successfully either. This is why his seat is the lowest out of all ( ... )

History: Vexen was one of the original members of the Organization. When he was a human named Even, he, along with Xehanort and the other apprentices of Ansem the Wise, experimented on the heart's darkness. After realizing the dangers of what they were doing, their master urged them to stop, but the apprentices ignored him. Their dangerous research ultimately cost them their lives, as well as their own hearts. This resulted in the apprentices turning into Nobodies- those who are neither human nor Heartless, but are in-between. As a Nobody, he was still very interested in the mysteries of the heart, more specifically, memories. He continued his research long after the Organization was founded, and was considered the leading scientist in the Organization ( ... )

It had been another long day.

Vexen sighed as he leaned over his desk, scribbling the events of the day into his notebook. Another of his experiments had failed in the early hours; one he had been working on for weeks. That, of course, left him extremely frustrated. And just to worsen his mood, it had been addressed at the Organization's gathering later on. Yet again, the scientist had been embarrassed in front of his fellow members, and his chair was lowered again. Vexen seriously believed that if his chair were to be lowered any more, his feet would be able to touch the ground. Of course he hated his current position in the room Where Nothing Gathers, but he knew that the others just didn't see his true potential. Oh, would he prove them wrong one day.

Gritting his teeth, the scientist slammed his notebook shut. "The nerve of them, mocking my work. They simply cannot understand how much trial and error that I have to go to in order to make the perfect creation." He muttered to himself as he slumped back into ( ... )

Personality: A rather bright and optimistic fifteen year old girl who dreams of becoming the Pokemon Champion, Dawn has a gentle and kind nature; unfortunately this means that she’s somewhat naive and a bit too trusting of others, having a hard time detecting any ulterior motives. History: Growing up in sleepy Twinleaf town, Dawn and her close friend and next door neighbor, Pearl, had always dreamed of receiving their own Pokemon and setting out on their own journey, becoming Pokemon Trainers. One day, after years of dreaming, after watching a TV special on Sinnoh’s renowned Pokemon Professor Rowan and finding out he lived in the next town over, Pearl hatched a spur of the moment plan: to travel to Sandgem Town and beg Professor Rowan for a Pokemon of their own. Despite her misgivings about the entire plan but desperately wanting to follow her dream, Dawn decided to follow Pearl. Her misgivings only increased however, as Pearl revealed his brilliant plan to avoid the wild Pokemon lurking within the grass on the way to Sandgem Town was to run really, really fast ( ... )

Gaining her first gym badge and ready for the next, Dawn headed north, passing through Floaroma Town. Shortly after leaving the town, Dawn had her first encounter with Team Galactic, although she had unknowingly already met their leader. A little girl had spotted the trainer on the road and had begged her to save her father, who was being held hostage by Galactic. Dawn, determined to rescue the girl’s father, managed to break through and defeat Galactic Commander Mars who was holding the father hostage; it would not be the last time she’d cross paths with Team Galactic, however ( ... )

Continuing on, she stopped by Celestic Town, having been asked by a blonde woman named Cynthia whom she’d met on along her travels to deliver a charm to her grandmother living there. Arriving at the small town nestled among the mountains, she once again came across Team Galactic’s; a grunt, angry that there was nothing of any value to him, threatened to blow up the entire town out of sheer frustration. Dawn was able to defeat the grunt and chase him off. Out of thanks, the elder took the young trainer with her to examine the ruins located within the town’s cave, its walls dotted with ancient paintings from a time long gone. Within, the elder explained the pictures on the walls, the legend of three ancient Pokemon once considered deities due to their immense power. It was then that Dawn’s paths crossed with Cyrus’ for a third time, as the blue-haired man revealed himself from the shadows, declaring himself the leader of Team Galactic and wanting to know more of the three legendary Pokemon in order to destroy the current world to remake ( ... )
