Leaving work at 3.30 to go pick up key, move, get cranky, unpack, be really happy, etc.

Yes, this is a little escapisty.
And it has to do with my inexplicable tendency to be more honest in new places than in comfortable, worn in ones.

Puttin' on the ritz
It doesn't do to dwell on where I'm not, and I'm trying hard, then, to not do that dwelling.
Speaking of dwelling, though, I will soon have a new dwelling. Over the weekend, I found myself a glorious one-bedroom apartment and will be moving in this coming Monday, the first, according to plan. I am very excited about this sort of dwelling.

Heaven's there; oh shit: You need a visa to get in.
In rather a change from last entry, I'm here to announce my staying in the USA for another twelvemonth.
Couldn't get all the paperwork I needed for my visa; would've had to reapply ($220) and fly to Chicago ($200+) for any hopes of obtaining in time to leave Tuesday. I'm poor, and the stress would've had me entirely unprepared academically.

I've been waiting for this day for a verifiable seven years.
I bought my one-way ticket to England this morning.
I leave Tuesday the 18th.
Cleveland-Newark-London by air, Norwich then by bus.
Should be on UEA's campus by about 6 the evening of the 19th, GMT.
One way ticket.
I just need my visa. I really fucking need my visa.

My mom just called. Sallie Mae called my house.
My loans just got approved.
I can apply for my visa. There's no reason it shouldn't be approved.
That and a plane ticket are then all I need for UEA.
I don't know yet how I feel about this. Shock's set in. England's a go?
