Heaven's there; oh shit: You need a visa to get in.

In rather a change from last entry, I'm here to announce my staying in the USA for another twelvemonth.
Couldn't get all the paperwork I needed for my visa; would've had to reapply ($220) and fly to Chicago ($200+) for any hopes of obtaining in time to leave Tuesday. I'm poor, and the stress would've had me entirely unprepared academically.
PCi hired me full time. I have a salary, full medical benefits, got a $600 signing bonus to cover the ticket and visa application I'd already paid, and yesterday even ordered a new chair, as the old one was killing my back.
Soon I'll be moving out-- somewhere. Was going to live with Peach, but now that's not financially feasible for her, so I'm looking into my own place.

I'm okay with this, I promise.

I've deferred 'til next year. Not declined. My deposit's even been rolled over, so that's good. Next year, it'll seem like a free 1000 pounds! Or something. I'll be all set for next year, and will be acquiring the visa by July at the latest-- can be obtained 3 months in advance. I'll have things waiting for it by February.
I'll be there. UEA 2008! Sweet.

It makes my heart absolutely sing when everyone's response has been "Boo but yay-- boo for you, but yay we get to keep you!" People want to keep me. How absurd. Feel way loved. It's almost-- I almost feel secure in it. How very new.

That's the news, duckies. For those who didn't already know.
Thank you for wonderfulness.
<3.
