Summary: America has lost his brother. Naturally he's not happy about this. So he's sitting and trying not to think about it, which is failing miserably.
Rating: PG-13 I guess

[Dash is flitting around the biodome, already mourning the loss of the giant sky of Wonderland when she spots him, not noticing his state] Hey America! Hey!

[You'll have to forgive him, Dashie, for grunting in reply and curling his knees up to his chest]

Ameeeerica! [She flaps down to sit by him, then tilts her head, poking him with a hoof] America, what's up?

...nothing. Hey, Dash. [Just look at that forced smile as he reaches up a hand to scruff her mane]

[If America wanted to be hard to find, well he was successful. But he was found, after a little while, and now shall not be left alone.]

[The tone says more than simple words ever could. Just strong enough to be heard, just demanding enough to not be ignored, but with softness and familiarity.]

[Alfred does glance up at him-- it's that tone that he automatically responds to. He looks like a mess, face pale and eyes red-rimmed] Hey, man.

[He sits near the other nation, close enough to lean against, not even bothering to ask if it's okay to do so or not.]

[Not 'are you okay' because that would be a very stupid question.]
