Suddenly on the ground, Xion found herself rubbing a sore shoulder. "H-Hey!" Her face wrinkled, lips pursed. "What was that for?!" She exlaimed. It was the first time Tamaki had ever laid anything other than a gentle hand on her, let alone pulling her hair and throwing her down. Clearly something must have been wrong with him...He couldn't possibly have done that on purpose...

Could he...?

His eyes darted to her, even though his face remained turned to the majority of those gathered.

"What's the matter, Xion? Aren't you having fun? Isn't this fun? I know that I'm having a ball!"

That said, he jumped down, knife still in hand and walked over to her. "Would you like to do something else then? Maybe a game."

Her eyes affixed themselves onto the knife in his hand, unable to waver from it. "W-well...I don't think you shoving me is very fun..." Even with that on the open, she still remained rather submissive. No use upsetting her friend ore than she apparently had...

Still, her body, almost unwittingly, began inching away from her. Her fingers dug into the floor below her as she scraped backwards, "A...a game?"

"Yes! A game!" He held up the knife so that the flat side of the blade covered his eyes. "Blind Man's Bluff! Hurry and run." Tamaki kept his eyes closed as he swung his arms out to try to find her. One with an open palm, the other still holding the knife.

Wearing the robes felt normal for some reason. Maybe it was because she wore them during the week she thought she went to Hogwarts. It was like nothing changed from that week. Expect these robes were blue, while she wore red ones.

The show Tamaki was putting on was a bit surprising, but in the end, Suki just smiled.

"Happy birthday Tamaki." She smiled warmly as she greeted him. "Thanks for inviting me."

He jumped down from the table, knife still in hand and walked over to Suki.

"I wouldn't dream of having a party without you, my dear. Sweet. Miss Suki. I'm so pleased that you could make it, considering the events earlier this week. I'm so thrilled your face wasn't harmed."

"Remus was able to heal me just fine." Suki lifted up her sleeve to show her healed arm. "And Luna was kind enough to lend me some clothes. Just in time to come to your party." She hugs Tamaki. "I just wish I had something to give you."

"That outfit suits you so much better than those green rags you were wearing before. It's a good thing your face wasn't scared or I'd confuse you with all the trolls that inhabit this city."

Nepeta didn't have much experience with human birthdays. She knew she was supposed to bring a present. She knew there was supposed to be a cake. However, she wasn't sure if there was supposed to be a display of violence like this.

Tamaki had always seemed so nice and sweet and happy! Trolls were prone to violent outbursts, but usually humans avoided that sort of thing...

The little troll girl crept closer, as cautiously as possible, and slipped on her claw gloves just in case. "Tamaki? ... Is this purrt of the human birthday ritual?"

"It's part of a ritual. Birthday? Hard to say." He jumped down from the table and approached her. "Some cultures celebrate the transition into manhood with the sacrifice of cats. True story. Do you know where I can get a sweet little kitty?"

"Wh-what?! No! Those cultures are terrible!" She recoiled as he approached her. Something was definitely wrong here.

"I don't think you need to sacrifice anything!"

"Then it won't be official. You don't want me to stay a wooden puppet forever do you? I want to be a real man. Without strings. You just want me to dance on your little stage forever, don't you, Nepeta? Well get out your coins, I'm going to do a dance!" He turned around and started to awkwardly soft-shoe around the floor.

"Happy? Are you having fun, because I am?!"

Was Alessa frightened? No. Was she concerned? Yes, but for Tamaki's sake. There was something utterly wrong right now--he had the look of insanity about him. She'd seen it enough to know it by heart.

"Tamaki?"

She eyed the knife in his hand, waiting to see if he hurt himself or someone else, but it's not hard for her to smile despite it. Blood and gore didn't disturb her anymore. She'd psychically rip away the knife if he did something.

"Happy birthday."

"Very happy indeed! Why, I don't know if I've ever ever ever been this happy in my whole life! It feels like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders. This must be what adulthood feels like! Funny I imagined it would be different and feel more like arranged marriages and oppression! Thank God I was sent here with all of you~! Who would have known my home and happiness there was what was really holding me back."

He jumped down from the table and approached Alessa, knife still in hand. "So, what should I do with this new revelation, little one? Any ideas?"

Well, she'd like it if you'd put the knife down, but she was really unconcerned about her own safety.

So, instead of recoiling or screaming or cowering, she just gave him a warm smile and folded her hands at her abdomen. "Well, what would make you happy?"

"Would you like to dance? I would love to dance with such a beautiful little princess."

Darc watched through narrowed eyes, arms folded firmly over his chest as he observed the other teen's somewhat bizarre display. He had come into contact with clowned individuals more than once, but given that the other was human, and as far as Darc was concerned, was prone to fits of unusual behaviour anyway, he was unsure what to think. Maybe this was completely normal for a human on their birthday? He could well have been drinking alcohol beforehand, like James on his birthday, and Darc knew first hand that that could lead to strange and unusual behaviour. He just continued to regard him in silence, not really sure what to make of the situation...

"Darc, why that face? A frown doesn't suit you at all. What must I do to get a smile out of you, hmm?"

He hopped from the table and approached, the knife still in hand. "Would you like to play another game? Just name it, my dear friend. How can I ON THIS DAY make you smile? What must I do during MY celebration to make you laugh? Would you like me to do a dance? Oh tell me, Great and Mighty Darc, how can this lowly human make you happy? Forget what today means to me, never mind everything I've lost. All. I. Want. Is one LOUSY smile. But no, keep pouting."

His raised voice and angry expression vanished and instead he laughed and tilted his head to the side. "I'm really glad to be your friend. If I was never stolen away I'd never meet such a caring, wonderful person like you, Darc."

Darc blinked a little as the other jumped down from the table, looking both surprised and confused as the other moved towards him. Tamaki both looked and sounded angry, and while he was still fairly uncertain when it came to identifying sarcasm, he suspected that this was an example of it. He remained where he was, though his arms dropped to his sides and his muscles tensed a little just in case the other teen was planning to attack - he was still brandishing a knife, after all, even if he was no match for the half-dragon boy - really unsure of how to react to this sudden change. Particularly because Tamaki must know he wasn't exactly prone to presenting a friendly demeanor...

"...I'm not pouting..." he protested confusedly, just as Tamaki's attitude made another sudden shift back to something that was a little more like himself, though there just seemed to be something wrong about it. Maybe he was intoxicated, after all? ".....you're confusing me...."

"Confusing you? Well allow me to be more clear." He turned to the wall and began to carve with the knife a smiley face. Once it was done, Tamaki stabbed the knife deep into the wall and faced Darc, pulling his own cheeks back for a large smile.
