He hopped from the table and approached, the knife still in hand. "Would you like to play another game? Just name it, my dear friend. How can I ON THIS DAY make you smile? What must I do during MY celebration to make you laugh? Would you like me to do a dance? Oh tell me, Great and Mighty Darc, how can this lowly human make you happy? Forget what today means to me, never mind everything I've lost. All. I. Want. Is one LOUSY smile. But no, keep pouting."
His raised voice and angry expression vanished and instead he laughed and tilted his head to the side. "I'm really glad to be your friend. If I was never stolen away I'd never meet such a caring, wonderful person like you, Darc."

"...I'm not pouting..." he protested confusedly, just as Tamaki's attitude made another sudden shift back to something that was a little more like himself, though there just seemed to be something wrong about it. Maybe he was intoxicated, after all? ".....you're confusing me...."

He laughed though. "Just kidding! Oh I could never harm Kharg, he's such a nice fellow. Have you had any of the food yet? It's wonderful."
Tamaki turned and picked up a plate from the floor and scooped up a hunk of the destroyed chicken and put it on top. "Mmm, I saved you the best part."

"...what was that about your new friend?"

There, towering over Darc was an all white clown with green vines wrapped around him and a wide twisted smile. It bounced up and down and from one foot to the other before offering Darc a heavily throned rose.

"I don't think I want that," he itoned in a low, gruff voice when the clown offered him the rose, before glancing over at Tamaki, not letting his 'friend' leave his field of vision, "I don't think that thing is your friend..."

"We're no longer friends, Darc. You're mean and self centered and I don't have time to spend with people like you."
The clown slipped past Darc, over to Tamaki and wrapped its thorned vine covered arms around Tamaki's shoulders. Even though it tore his beloved uniform Tamaki smiled. "I have a true friend now who's mother and father and all that I need."
