I realized I loved s2 Brucas when rewatching clips on YouTube. They were lovely and I liked how they became friends again. Plus, I'm not going to lie ... I'm kind of liked seeing Lucas being the one who was pining after Brooke.

My heart wibbled a little, when he said "Don't go, I just needed to say it."
Mine too. It was just so sad.

Okay 1.) They'll never be "just friends," and 2.) that look on Luke's face when the camera pans in on him - yeah, I felt his pain. That not nice show, that not nice. But, I was glad to see him home.Oh, that was really sad. He just looked so devastated from the minute that she walked off. And the song they played in the background? It was perfect. "I will never trade your love for a lie" ... gah! Yes, I've seen that scene way too many times, no matter how much it hurts ( ... )

I think, in a way, S2 BL might just actually be my favorite season of them for a lot of different reasons. But, I think mostly because they were learning to really just be friends and to trust one another. In a lot of ways, it was the season where they really started to learn a lot about who the other one was and what they were like.

It was sad. I just wanted to hug them both. lol. Which, ya know, is totally not normal for me to want to hug Lucas because I spent a greater portion of the time just really wanting to slug him. lol.

:( their scenes are making me so nostalgic for when i really thought they could work it out!

just a few things, i just love the wedding, it's one of my favourite episodes for them, and how he doesn't say what're you gonna do but "what are WE gonna do".

and then regarding s4, ugh, i don't even wanna. but what i think happened tbh is that suddenly mark and his writers got scared - they realised that faarr too many people were invested in BL and that was not going well for their original idea of an epic LP love story - so they had to drag BL through the mud (sorry, i'm bitter here). they just wanted brooke to be a fun diversion for luke, which we could all see she wasn't. arghh it makes me angry just thinking about this again!

but this picspam is soo beautiful!!

I think in a lot of ways, for a lot of different reasons S2 BL are sort of my favorite, because they were becoming friends again and really getting to know the other in so many intimate ways that I feel like will bond them together (despite how MS and the show tried to re-write or alter their history) for the rest of their lives in ways that Peyton will never be able to touch ( ... )
