I realized I loved s2 Brucas when rewatching clips on YouTube. They were lovely and I liked how they became friends again. Plus, I'm not going to lie ... I'm kind of liked seeing Lucas being the one who was pining after Brooke.
I think, in a way, S2 BL might just actually be my favorite season of them for a lot of different reasons. But, I think mostly because they were learning to really just be friends and to trust one another. In a lot of ways, it was the season where they really started to learn a lot about who the other one was and what they were like.
It was sad. I just wanted to hug them both. lol. Which, ya know, is totally not normal for me to want to hug Lucas because I spent a greater portion of the time just really wanting to slug him. lol.
Oh, that was really sad. He just looked so devastated from the minute that she walked off. And the song they played in the background? It was perfect. "I will never trade your love for a lie" ... gah! Yes, I've seen that scene way too many times, no matter how much it hurts.
I heart that song so much, was so fitting for that particular scene given their history. I know, I know. I said that I was going to sit down one day and do a complete re-watch of all the season's at some point in an effort to catch up. But, I think it just hurts a bit too much now, so maybe when I'm finished with my X-Files re-watch. :)
It really was, it totally reminded me of another ship from another show. Cordy/Angel. Man, Brooke was absolutely beautiful in this and Lucas and his time...just, gah!

Aw, thanks. I spent a lot of time on these, trying to get the caps colorized and cleaned up the way I wanted them. Haha, I had such a great time putting it together and just getting to re-watch all the old favorite moment's. :)
