I am now the happy (but tired) owner of a sweet, loving, bouncy, HAPPY pomeranian. Possibly named Nelson, but I haven't decided yet. (His name is Willie. Nelson would therefore be a play on Willie Nelson, as well as the admiral.) He's snoozing by the couch now, after a brief nap in my lap. AWW, I wish my camera would work. He's sprawled on top of a couch cushion, with his chin on the back of the couch. (He's sort of like some cats in that he wants to be close but not actually IN my lap.)

I think it is! And today the cat slept in my lap some, with the dog asleep about ten feet away. So far so good.
