Long overdue update
I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend. We managed to celebrate our first Thanksgiving in our new casa, and it was great, and included such fun as:
- Me having a mental breakdown at 8am in the morning on Thursday after running to 2 different stores to buy yams
- Having a blast with family all around

Oh I have been away from LJ for quite sometime, and only now am I finally able to catch up on events happening with people. The last 3 months have been like a social void due to the new job and all the drama that is associated with it. Its like I've been handed a bag of flaming poo... so it sucks in a nutshell.

Today Jack visited with his Great-Grandma Bea, Great-Aunt Lila, & Grandpa at great-grandma's retirement community. While I'm thrilled that some family is close by- some parts of Jeff's fam rub me the wrong way.
