I am so sick of Sam and Dan on TAR. And Meghan and Cheyne worked my last nerve this week. I'm putting all my hopes on the Globetrotters.

Meghan and Cheyne fly under my radar a lot, because so far they haven't done anything really terrible (like him trying to push her down a slide when she's afraid of water. Holy crap was that guy a douche!), and even with them abandoning the Globetrotters this week, my main issue there was that Cheyne was so unbelievably rude to the woman who was helping them, ripping the notebook from her hands. But he was right that it's a freakin' race and they don't owe the Globetrotters anything. He owes that woman an apology and a thank you, though.

I just realized why I'm having such issues remembering Sam and Dan's names - I keep wanting to write Sam and Dean! And I don't even watch that show! LJ can really damage a person.

But isn't this next episode the season finale? Which means I'll have no new episodes to watch for months and months and months!
Three more episodes!! I don't know how it's all going to go down anymore! Everyone's dying hardcore! Somehow! I just realized that Dexter's going to have to kill Christine too now, I bet.

I WANT THEM TO CRUSH THE DILLON PANTHERS. Completely destroy them, grind them into dust, beat them into the ground. As long as that happens, I'll be one happy camper.
Isn't that so bizarre? For three years, we're all GO PANTHERS and now they've made us gleefully shout DIE PANTHERS DIE! Oh, show.

There are three more episodes of Sons of Anarchy? I thought there were only 13 in the season?

I haven't looked forward to Dexter killing someone this much in a long time. I wonder what the daughter's deal is though? Did daddy mold her or did she become a homicidal lunatic independent of him (well, except for his influence while she was growing up, that is).

I've never been all that rah rah about the Panthers, so for me the switch isn't as strange as for some people, I bet.

Oh, I thought you meant Dexter

I don't know! For me, it totally explains her behavior, the way both of them seem to be very sincere and very fake at the same time.

In conclusion, Sam and Dan can go away now.

AGREED. Haven't hated racers this much in a lonnng time. Obnoxious isn't a strong enough word!

Re: Top Chef - Kevin's still there - won the last challenge in fact!

I don't get where they're getting this idea that they're good racers. Possibly because there aren't ANY good racers this season? Which has made them overconfident? They've been unbelievably stupid at so many points along the way, it's just that other people have been even stupider. Hardly a ringing endorsement for their intelligence level.

Phew! Glad to know the judges aren't THAT dumb. =)

I think the FNL writers were inspired sending Coach to East Dillon. There was nowhere for the Panthers to go, but now we're rooting just for little things, for them having uniforms, for them to score a single point! For them even to keep their team going! I'm like you, suddenly I want to watch this as soon as I can.

I thought that the loss of my favorite character would considerably lower my interest in this show - which wasn't that high to begin with! - even though pretty much my entire review of season 3 was "I want the Lions to crush the Panthers". But NO. It's right there at the top of my list, along with Glee and Community

When you post YOU REALLY POST :) I agree on so many things which is really quite fun. Yes to everything you said about Community, FNL (which I only disliked in season two but STILL YES TO THE UNDERDOG STORY and that ONE WIN), Glee, HIMYM (OY. The way the show has disappointed me is legen-waitforit-dary) & TAR.

I know! I keep having all these thoughts, but no time to write them out. And then when I've had the time, I've just been exhausted. So I finally decided to let it all out in one endless stream of words. (Though I don't think it's a coincidence that I took the afternoon off work and am at least lucid even though it's late evening.)

I thought early season 2 of FNL sucked, but I didn't dislike it so much, because I felt no real connection to it. And while season 3 didn't suck, still there was no connection. Now I've got connection coming out of my ears!

HIMYM and I are on hiatus right now. I don't think I can deal with it at the moment. I think I need at least one week of vacation time in the bag before I can begin to contemplate What Went Wrong. Until then, I'll just remember the good days...

(Edited because apparently lucidity is a more fluid concept than I originally thought...)
