Everybody's working for the weekend!

I'm currently halfway through The Deeper Meaning of Liff, which is like my favorite new thing. For those not in the know, it's "a dictionary of things there aren't any words for yet", by Douglas Adams and John Lloyd. All words are really geographical places. ( My favorites so far... )

tv: my boys, tv: life, kiva, tv: sarah connor chronicles, language, tv: better off ted, books

It's weird. I didn't like Tidwell at all when he was introduced, and their pairing him up with Dani annoyed me, but he's slowly grown on me in the last few episodes. Not so much that I'll miss him the way I'll miss Dani and Charlie when if "Life" doesn't get renewed, but I don't dislike him anymore.

I thought I read mid-season that the Tidwell/Dani relationship would be ending, but I guess Sarah Shahi's pregnancy made them rewrite the Dani arc and they figured it would be more convenient to just keep them together for the season.

Oh well. I liked the finale and it would be a good series ender, but I'd still be thrilled if a miracle happens and the show somehow gets to continue.

I was kind of indifferent at first, then I started hating him because I felt that his relationship with Dani ruined just about everything I loved about her character. But then, when I realized what a crappy character he was and that he's only there so they can have an exposition fairy, I started hating him just for being sucky in his own right, and even though I've come to terms with Reese not being as wonderful as in season 1 (mostly by becoming more or less indifferent to her, which saddens me immensely), I can't stand to see Tidwell because he's become the symbol of what doesn't work for the show.

I think that the finale did make me want a season 3, which I hadn't cared about since about mid-season, but considering how much I've disliked certain aspects of season 2, I also won't be completely broken up if it's canceled.
