TV all over the place!

After a month of nothing much to watch I suddenly feel inundated with TV this week.

• First I started working again, which means TV eight hours a day.
• Then the Emmy nominations came out (I'm pleased Jenna was nominated, but the Emmys have become such a joke that it doesn't really mean anything in the long run).

i saw the first dexter episode, downloading the second. from what i've heard dexter season two will not be explicitly based on the books. hopefully this still means a great tight season like the first one was.

Okay, good to know. I saw there's a third book due out shortly and I figured they may have based it on that. I did feel that the show did a better job of bringing the characters to life than the books, especially everyone-not-Dexter.

You've probably already seen this further clarification. After reading that, unless you think they're being disingenuous, I would think most L/V fanfic, at least, would be okay.

I'm just not inclined to trust LJ at all right now. I AM, however, inclined to trust that laziness will prevail as long as the almighty dollar isn't threatened. That's about as far as I'll go. =)

I found them on Mininova.org. I needed the ffdshow codec pack to play them, but I already had them. _jems_ may or may not have had a different source. *shrugs*

AIEEEE. I only *just* caught up with Dexter, and now S2 screeners are out? GRRR. I think I'm just never going to be allowed to stay ahead of the curve with this show.

Well, actually, if you do watch the screeners you will be well ahead of the curve - and you'll also have to wait two more weeks for new episodes, which is the drawback of early releases. Not that that would ever keep me from watching stuff, I'm way too curious (and afraid of being accidentally spoiled).

Fair enough. I only caught up on Dexter though because they get Showtime where I'm staying and I watched it for free. I still don't have my own computer with which to download stuff. Which is sad and pathetic for me, but I'm working on saving for a laptop. We'll see how that goes. :p

I already have a few other journals, and I'll move if others do, but I don't think that will happen right now. Maybe with the next set of deletions? (I'm pretty sure something's coming.)
