I'm probably an anomaly among fic readers because I love WIPs. Love them to death! Updated every day, slow in coming, or stopped altogether - it doesn't matter. So, fic WIP recs under the cut. Mostly Spike/Buffy, because there tend not to be a lot of really good, plotty WIPs in the VM fandom. Which is a real shame, in my opinion.

Did you ever read anjoufic's Into the Blue? She posted it last summer, but I didn't find it until recently. Apparently, I only like WIPS that I'm sure will be updated, or that were written so long ago everyone's already over it. :p

I did (it's in my VM fic post), but I couldn't exactly remember what it was about, which precluded me from putting it in this entry. Though, I have only read it once, so maybe a reread is in order?

Heh, that's probably where I found it, because I can't imagine how else I would have stumbled upon it accidently nine months after it was posted. :p

I really liked it, so you might enjoy a reread. It was kind of fun to read knowing how S2 actually turned out, though.

I totally gave up on updating that entry sometime late last summer because there started to be so much fic that it was impossible to find time to read it all, much less keep the entry up-to-date. I'm so glad about the fic archive because there I can maybe find my way back to some of those stories that fell off the radar this past year.

Oh, hello forgotten WIP! Can't believe I didn't mention Mortal Wounds, but I guess it's been too long since I've reread it.

And thanks for the info. It's hard to keep up with LJ names when it's people you don't know anything about aside from one fic they wrote.

I think you've been missing out then, because it's good fic. Though you did see that there was VM fic mixed in there, right? Not that you can't hit Back if you're not interested, but you know...

Yep, I noticed. I have no time to read VM too but this is not bad. I just started Season 1 so I won't get spoilered if I read now :)

I'd been considering rereading it too, I haven't since the real season 2 began, and I remember enjoying the virtual season a whole lot better. =)
