random ramblings
So where have I been and what have I been doing? I'm snowed in--well on the tail end of snowed in. They canceled school on both Thursday and Friday (which is a good thing--I couldn't have made it and I had tests both days.) There was a supposed 8 1/2 inches of snow in town and out here we got "4 1/2" but it was 6" thick, whatever they have to say ( Read more... ) -

So yesterday there was a school shooting, in Joplin... like less than 5 miles from the college. So that had everyone all excited. Seems the proverbial "good kid" showed up at school with an assault rifle and went upstairs, downstairs and finally got someone to take him seriously (he'd threatened several people) when he squeezed off a round into ( Read more... ) -

Sept 11th rant
