It's been close to a year since I've posted anything but I still comment on other people's blogs (sometimes) so I figure it's time for an update. I abandoned my abusive ex-boyfriend of a "career" path in the law, and I'm a pretty fulfilled German, French and god help me Latin teacher in Delaware now. So I read Harry Potter and all in all I have to say I was thrilled. I really feel like she did an excellent job of hitting all of the relevant plot and character points plus it was a great ride. Normally I hate series endings so this is quite an accomplishment ( Read more... ) -

So I took the advice offered and skipped forward to Return To Jericho and all I can say is WOW. They really found their feet. They got rid of the characters I hate (or at least cut down on their storylines) and focused on the ones I like (although Mimi, Stanley and Bonnie could have even more screentime)and basically I am just thoroughly ( Read more... ) -

I've watched the first couple of episodes (available on the website) but I'm not all that impressed. Does it take a while to get good? It certainly seems to have inspired rabid devotion in a lot of people and I want to support it if it's good but right now I'm just kinda meh... -
Doctor Who
I just watched last week and this week's Doctor Who. I know the outsider's perspective moving statue epi was not received really well and I'm not going to claim that it even began to compare to awesomeness of this weeks, but MY GOD did those weeping angels creep me the hell out.
