I'm trying out Dreamwidth, so those over there saw my big weekend for Gen's birthday.

I hadn' set up X-posting, which is why it isn't over here as well. I'll see if I can manage it for my next post!

Okay, I've done the Dreamwidth thing (better safe than sorry). Is there any quick way to find all your LJ contacts in Dreamwidth or am I stuck doing it by hand?

All recovery is progressing as well as to be expected in the house of Garn.

Adam dropped Mom back off on Friday night (about 24 hours guest free) because it is much easier for me to drive 30 mins each way to get her to see Dad for the 60 mins per day she's allowed than it is for Adam or Cheryl to drive 60 mins each way. So she's here for the ( Read more... )

I'm giving it the old college try!

I've been working for a local college, and Derek's business has a contract with them as well. We've crossed the 100K line with that contract, which apparently means much more scrutiny.

Derek and I went away for an overnight in Collingwood on Georgian Bay for our 10th wedding anniversary. Dad was in the field as he has been since October, so Mom was quite glad to have VV for company for a couple of days.
