Why yes, I am made of awesome.
Modesty, not so much. But my paper has been accepted (finally) and is slotted for publication. It only took this long, but thankfully I'm happy not to hear that it's not unique enough for publication (or that it's gone out for review again).
So fwee! I'm going to be a real fake-doctor! -

Not dead yet
I'm so bad about updating the LJ when it's summer. I think my brain naturally wants to take a vacation. Though I did drive up to Syracuse with ameldamene. Long drive is really frikking long. Also, even if I didn't before, I hate DC now more than ever. Traffic is crazy, even from far away ( Read more... ) -

Fabian's experience
I am pretty sure that life is awesome right now. I went to Fabian's for dinner with Megan and Lars as part of a joint Merry Christmas/Happy Graduation present. The opening dish was something made of delicious and shrimp. Heavy on the former, though it was imbued in the shrimp, too. I don't think I've ever had salmon that was that good. Ever.
