Fabian's experience
I am pretty sure that life is awesome right now. I went to Fabian's for dinner with Megan and Lars as part of a joint Merry Christmas/Happy Graduation present. The opening dish was something made of delicious and shrimp. Heavy on the former, though it was imbued in the shrimp, too. I don't think I've ever had salmon that was that good. Ever. And I order salmon out because I can't cook it. And for dessert, if the guy wasn't already happily married, I'd totally steal him because it was that awesome. Strawberries in white chocolate. Blisssssss. The strawberries were fresh and perfect and the topping just made me want to cry tears of happiness. We also got a Riesling called Kung-fu Girl. I kept the bottle for making a planter for ivy.
I've heard about (and driven by) Fabian's for two years (and close to 6), and I was really really impressed. The owner was a nice guy too. I think I may have to find someone really special to drag there. I wore my red dress from Matthew's wedding and put on makeup and felt smoking hot. The fun heels helped. So off to bed now.~
