[He stares, only understanding only every other thing that is said. The manager, however.] There is no poison! I've checked and checked carefully. [crosses his arms] Infinity may be a mysterious city to stay in, but it does not draw in guests just to kill them.

[All the while Mr. Manager is speaking, Hei's gently removing said young lady off of him. There's nervousness on his seemingly innocent face as he glances to her.] Ah... I think he's right, ma'am. [See the small pile of empty dishes nearby him?] I mean, I don't feel sick.

[What is this Saiunkoku Monogatari she speaks of, anyway? Hei's certainly never heard of it. ...Not that he reads much to begin with on his world while constantly on the move and killing people or blowing up buildings.]

[No doubt Erika was all around to witness this. There's a significant change from the shy and friendly Li to some of that seriousness of the real him. It just flickered out into the open for a moment.

A light smile surfaces. She doesn't seem to be hurt at all. He doesn't quite understand, but it doesn't matter. Not right now, anyway.]

[Hei's gently guiding Yin to where he's sitting. He's hardly touched his the food Erika gave to him, so he's already considered letting her have it.] This place is called Infinity.

[In sliding back into Li, he smiles nervously at Erika.] Well, what do you know. [Shy sweatdrop smile] Yin, Erika. Erika, Yin.

Erika claps as the touching scene comes to an end then looks at 'Li-kun' with starry eyes and an evil smile appears at the corner of her mouth]

Hi, Yin, I'm Erika...Li-kun told me you two were just friends, but he forgot to mention that you're so very young. Where are your parents? Do they know that you have an adult friend like Li-kun?

[He knows what happened to Yin's parents, but doesn't bring up how as he replies.]

She doesn't have any parents... I'm really all she has.

[Yin carefully pust the fork on and slowly starts to eat her moves are as ginger as her wrists were made of glass. When Erika starts to speak about her parents, she drops the fork and stay still like a little statue, looking at nowhere as she calmly says

[Hei is just...staring... She should have remembered what had happened to Mao. Did something happen? Did the Syndicate... No, they'd just kill her. Hei knows them--they wouldn't just tamper with her memories.]

[Softly, and sadly;] But Yin, Mao is... [This was so not the time to be talking about Mao, the Syndicate, or even Hell's Gate. Erika's probably not even from their world.]

I promised you I wouldn't leave. [It's a sad smile, as he remembers Mao's sacrifice. If it wasn't for him, they wouldn't have understood the clue about the Doll network he discovered in PANDORA's server. From time to time, Hei still thinks of him.]

This city, it...brought me here. It brought Erika and so many others. I don't know why, but at least you're here now.

Hei doesn't know that Mao's at Infinity yet! He doesn't know that Mao didn't die. (Technically, they're from somewhere in between seasons 1 and 2...) Maybe soon, they could all reunite. ^_^

It's alright, Yin. I understand. [He doesn't fully understand though, but all sorts of strange things were happening here. He knows enough, but he decides to tell her about the city itself at a better time. Discussing their troubles along with that, with Erika sitting across from them--it'll only lead to unnecessary complications.]

I know you won't leave. [Where else could she go? Out of their entire unit, it was just the two of them. From here, he started to think. This city didn't have any other Contractors trying to hunt them. There was no Syndicate... So, maybe they didn't need to go back to their original world.

The Syndicate can believe they were dead. They wouldn't care, right? Yin and Hei could just live together in his apartment in this city. Sure, it had its dangers, but it wasn't quite as dangerous as it was back there...
