[crosses his arms] Infinity may be a mysterious city to stay in, but it does not draw in guests just to kill them.

[All the while Mr. Manager is speaking, Hei's gently removing said young lady off of him. There's nervousness on his seemingly innocent face as he glances to her.] Ah... I think he's right, ma'am. [See the small pile of empty dishes nearby him?] I mean, I don't feel sick.

[What is this Saiunkoku Monogatari she speaks of, anyway? Hei's certainly never heard of it. ...Not that he reads much to begin with on his world while constantly on the move and killing people or blowing up buildings.]

Really, I'm fine. [Shy smile! It makes most almost any woman's heart melt upon seeing it. As for the calling on him for help? They haven't quite registered to him just yet. After all, she had arrived rather quickly!]

[The manager uncrosses his arms and eyes her a little suspiciously before going into the kitchen. Kids, these days, he'd think!]

[...Ri? Hei slightly shakes his head.] It's Li. Li Shengshun. [Why did she think he needed to be rescued from anybody, or anything? Hei beneath the alias felt uneasy until he pep talked himself down and find out more information about this visitor.]

Oh, well, that doesn't sound too bad. It could have been worse.

[And Hei is sure that she said "Ri" earlier--all five of his senses are quite sharp.

From here he convincingly tells her a familiar half truth.] I've been a college student in Tokyo. Like you, I sort of turned a corner, but my friend got left behind in the process. [He's talking about a certain Doll blind girl named Yin. Hei forces himself to stay focused at her, rather than someone he's having a damn hard time in trying to find, let alone protect.]

[Even though he can't help it, he frowns a little.] She must be very worried about me...

[The pasta manager places another dish of alfredo on the table in front of him.]

[Hei shows him a kind smile.] Thanks.

[Hei blinks at Erika in confusion and swallows the first few bites of his fifth serving. How he eats so much and never seems to gain any weight is a mystery we'll probably never know the answer to.]

It's nothing like that. We're just friends... I can't get back to her, and she doesn't know I'm here. [Furthermore so to help her understand--] Once you get into Infinity, you're stuck here.

[The girl suddenly stops counting and stares at Li]

How do you mean I was stuck here? Isn't there a subway station or a bus stop around? 'kay, I'll get a taxi or call for Togusa for picking me up...

[For a moment, Erika thinks that 'you're stuck here' means 'you're stuck here forever', and tries to imagine herself in a Walker-less world, but she fails, so she chooses to stay in blessed ignorance.]

Do you want to come with us? It's free, and my friends don't bite. Usually. Just leave alone the van and the books and don't call Dotachin 'Dotachin', and...that's all, I guess.

[Staring... Spaceship? Time machine? Those concepts are hard for his own or any Contractor Logic to grasp, but Infinity just defies it. Okay, that moment of hesitation is now up.] If we could find an airplane, sure...but it's not very likely to find any other things.

[Before taking her plate, Hei makes sure before going further into incredible gluttony.] Are you sure?

[Smiling again as he gladly tugs her plate over to him and starts digging in.]

To be honest, I don't know. If we could find a pilot and have enough fuel for one, then maybe we could... [While eating, Hei is contemplating whether or not to share what he knows, on hearing about a pilot.]

[the faint voice behind Hei's back sounds like the the sound of a distant, icy star, slightly more than whispering]

[At the all too familiar voice, Hei stiffens. Both cobalt blue eyes widen as he slowly looks over his shoulder to see that friend he mentioned to Erika earlier.]

[He immediately stops eating and gets out of his seat.]

Yin. Are you alright? [She may not see it, but he looks both relieved and worried to see her here, and not dead.]

Yin turns her face towards Hei as if she could see his face then looks away again]

Where are we? [Her mouth moves like she'd want to tell something, but the words loose in the noise of the restaurant and Yin stays silently, close to Hei, waiting]
