If you had asked, I would have told you. There was an attack on my family many years ago, and my Mother sealed my younger sister's true identity. She began to wake to it on her own. No one was "turned", as you put it.

There was a time when there were a small handful of people who knew - the hospital wing staff, Professor Dumbledore, of course the Ravenclaw head of house, and two others who found out through one of the Castle's 'moments', but knew well enough to keep that fact a secret.

However, it seems that is no longer the case, thanks to someone who cannot keep his mouth shut properly. I stand firm by the statement that if anyone who was clearly one of us had asked, I would have explained the situation. I have yet to hear such a request from anyone. The rash assumptions of my having turned anyone are not appreciated.

Yah, sure, kid... Last I checked you still had to do that whole 'exchange of blood' gig that our kind are noted for. It's kind of an important step in the process, always has been, ever since the first of us... Or so I've been told.

I am sorry I never asked, but since neither of you are my students, nor do you associate with anyone I know, I had no way of knowing... Though I did figure it out recently...

And call it what you will, it's all flowery prose anyway... If you 'needed' to do it, you should have informed someone, such as the Headmaster, so we all could have been prepared... Especially in light of said individual...
If you could have, you should have waited the few months until Summer, it would have avoided this entire mess... Or at least a majority of it.

Though no doubt it would be hard to for see him freaking out so insanely...

It was something like that, yes. I have a problem considering it as such, as that has rather negative connotations. One cannot turn someone into what they already are, after all. The notion that such a thing is possible is rather perplexing

'nearly', hell... This kind of thing is a highly delicate situation, and shouldn't have ever been done on the school grounds...

But it's ok, kid... I just wish you or he had thought to give us some kind of warning... And the fact alone that you weren't dying right that second or anything equally unforeseen, indicates that you or your brother would have in fact had the time to tell someone what was going on... But neither of you did...

And while it's already been said and done, from now on just be really careful...

I wasn't exaggerating the point at all when I said Wizards hate us...

And though I don't foresee you ever being unable to find you're brother, it's good to know that you would be willing to at least find me...

Honestly Professor, I don't think finding another place to have done it would have made much of a difference, unless Kaname and I had vanished afterwards. Zero still would have been able to tell the difference and we'd be in nearly the same predicament.

I may not have been dying physically, but mentally it was driving me insane. It was at the point where all I wanted to do was physically harm somebody else, and that just isn't acceptable to me. That really would have been the thing that broke me, pushed me over the edge to madness.

I am all too aware that both Muggles and Wizards hate us. Living on the other side of that border made me fearful of vampires as well, those whom were strangers to me, at least.

If he gets busy with both his Prefect duties and schoolwork it may be just like my first few weeks here, where I only saw him in the distance.
