I picked up the keys to my new apartment today (not a huge move: it's about a 10 minute walk from my current place, but the bf and I will not be sharing with another roommate anymore, which is awesome) and started setting up utilities. I finished my (first playthrough of) Dragon Age: Origins a few minutes. The ending battle was suitably epic as was the speech at the end. I wish they had filled in more about what happens in the epilogue, but I suppose that's being saved for another game. I hope so, at least. I really enjoyed this one.

I just finished watching part two of the Doctor Who Christmas special. It was better than part one, but that doesn't mean much as I was really not impressed by part one. I just got back from voting in my first ever presidential election. It was unexpectedly exciting: by last week I'd hit the point of being annoyed at the non-stop coverage and just wanted the darn thing to be over, but when I headed off to the polls today, it was all shiny and new and exciting again.
