I picked up the keys to my new apartment today (not a huge move: it's about a 10 minute walk from my current place, but the bf and I will not be sharing with another roommate anymore, which is awesome) and started setting up utilities. The gas company will have to wait for tomorrow since of the three utilities I'm dealing with they're the only ones without an internet form to turn it on and I called 7 minutes after their customer service was closed. But given that I don't have to move until about the 17th, that's not an issue.
I am irrationally excited that there's a claw-foot tub in the new place. I am planning to take some nice, long luxurious baths once we're moved in. Also, there's tons of space, and no sharing of the fridge, and it's all hardwood flooring except the bathroom which is fake tile-patterned linoleum.
