Right now I really loathe the medical beaurocracy with all its legal butt-covering and its 'tell the same story six billion times and you might be lucky enough to find someone willing to risk making an actual judgement call' stupidity...

Exhaustion from packing and  moving aside, both of the above make me indescribably happy.  :)

We closed on the house this a.m. with nary a problem!

Now to pick a theme for our currently very white (and boring) kitchen and bathroom. :)

1.  You will find at least 5 items during each pack to move that you don't remember ever owning...

2.  You will need at least twice the number of boxes you procure...

Had my 20 wk Ultrasound today.   Newest Nicholson in progress = Naomi Lynnea.  :)  Everything looks great, she's a real squirmy wormy, pictures to follow once our camera and scanner get fixed!

The bank approved the offer we made on our favored house.  Barring any surprises we close the last week of February and should be totally moved in by the middle of March.  In the mean time we're packing and waiting for next weeks 20 week Ultrasound when we should find out the gender of the baby.  ;-p  All of us our finally completely recovered from ( Read more... )

My maternal Grandfather George passed away early early this am, after a long and difficult struggle with metasticized cancer.  I am SO glad he is no longer in pain, but I grieve, and I pray for my grandma who now has to endure her first holiday so close on top of losing him ( Read more... )
