Today I got the closest I will probably ever come to feeling like an astronaut.

So I have to have an MRI. It's just the same old test; how dilated is your aorta this half-year? But Dr. Cardio is going for the MRI this time because the amount of radiation your body collects throughout your lifetime is cumulative. It never goes away. Amongst all the emo, I forgot to say: Carols in the Domain last night. One of my favourite things about Christmas. If I have not mentioned it to you before, it is an enormous, free open-air concert of Christmas carols in this big park in the city. So my copy of House of Leaves came today. My mum was seriously like "Whut?" because it is the size of a textbook.

I love it already. Having a lit. major is for books what a media or film studies major (or TV Tropes) is for TV.
