Amongst all the emo, I forgot to say: Carols in the Domain last night. One of my favourite things about Christmas. If I have not mentioned it to you before, it is an enormous, free open-air concert of Christmas carols in this big park in the city. I say concert, but it is as much a picnic, with guests encouraged to sing along. You are almost guaranteed to run into people you know. I used to go every year with friends.
