1) get out of bed
2) take a shower
3) get dressed
4) pack computer
5) hit Panera
6) write
7) make marshmallow fondant leaves for Thanksgiving cake tomorrow
8) also, eat lunch at some point

long time no see.
Sort of not sure where to begin this post. I feel like I've been away forever, and I really want to do an update, but I feel so... inadequate where it comes to words lately. So uneloquent and inarticulate. I don't even know where or how to begin, so I guess I'll just jump right in.

It saddens and disturbs me sometimes to read book reviews online, how quickly dismissive or abhorrent some people are of a novel that broaches a topic that might be unpleasant or a personal taboo without ever considering that novel's merit or message. The same people, perhaps, who complain that a book (its plot, its characters, its themes) take too ( Read more... )
