I think I've been spending too much time on the Ravelry lately and been neglecting the ol' LJ.

I made a scarf - my first time doing something lace-ish.  It's Shibui Knits 100% Baby Alapaca, and it's absolutely lovely.

I'm organizing a knitting group for people in my major at grad school, and we've decided to meet at people's houses around dinnertime. Given how busy we all are, I think if we end up eating a meal we won't be getting a lot of knitting done, but I could see us grazing on snacks. I finally finished it! I think I'm going to nickname it "the beast." LOL. It took me a year to finish the blanket, although I did work on it only intermittently for most of the year. Since I told myself I wanted it finished, though, I've been working on it whenever we watch movies, so yeah.

Yesterday I finished the Eva Clutch. I wanted something small that would look nice with a black outfit. I think that there are mistakes in the pattern (especially in row numbering), but it is easy enough to figure out anyway.

I just finished knitting a fabulous Danica scarf for my boyfriend the same day he dumped me (& he did it online... ewwwww).

So a week before her birthday, I decided the perfect gift for my cousin would be the Touch of Whimsy scarf. I nearly finished it in time - and would have, had I not been packing our house.
