maybe little finger sandwiches or those tortilla roll-up things? They are delicious and not messy!

Super cute bag!

One of my favorite crafting snacks, a little bit messy, unless you eat them with a toothpick/fork: ham spread with cream cheese and then a pickle rolled in them and cut into thin-ish slices

Cheese and crackers?

pretzels, of course, in addition to the other suggestions -- I'd avoid really greasy or really sticky, and otherwise, just put out plenty of napkins!! I'm sure anything will be appreciated by everyone, and at the first meeting, you can ask the group for ideas for the next one!
Have fun!

Things that you can eat without hands. For some reason candies are coming to mind: Twizlers, lolipops, starbursts or jolly ranchers. I know candy is not healthy or really substantial, but it's a thought.

Plus the idea above with cubed cheese and summersausage on toothpicks seems perfect too.
