What I want to know is...

If a new tropical storm forms now, will they continus with Greek alphabet or go to 2006 names even though the season doesn't start until June 1?

And is this community now to be called 2006hurricanes? It's kind of a shame to abandon it just because the year has changed.

Zeta again strengthened into a tropical storm Thursday and could break the record for the storm lasting the longest into January since record keeping began in 1851.
