Other than Charles and Erik, are there any other pairings your partial too? Because I'd like to include Alex/Hank, but if you'd rather have it just be gen with no pairings, I think I can work with that...

Once they pull up to the mansion, Charles begins to get the feeling that something is wrong. Very wrong. While he shouldn’t be able to make out clear, coherent thoughts without focus, he should at least hear a light murmuring. There’s a possibility that Alex may be testing out a new panel with Hank in the bunker, and he has to actually be inside the house to hear the buzzing of thoughts there, but Sean is very wary of the bunker (he has a terrible phobia of being underground) and hardly ever goes down there, so Charles should be picking up a little something from him. Of course, they could be in back of the estate, playing basketball or one of those extreme games of hide and seek Alex likes to play where no place is off limits ( ... )
