I know that we've had the twins in the meme before, but have we had any David?

I'd like to see Charles being an almost over-attentive father, being very aware of the fact he's a single father, that he's pretty young to have a kid, that his own parents didn't do a good job. In essence, he's terrified of screwing up.

I'd also love to see the other mutant's reaction to finding out Charles has a child and perhaps some amusement watching Charles with him.

I'm going to give this a try. Don't know where it's going or even if it's good, but it's something. If someone else fills this too, all the better.

1958Charles had not expected much when he paused on his way out the door to answer the shrilly ringing telephone. He had more important things to think about than inopportune callers. He had to get to class and he had a rather important paper due in two days that he had been putting off for far too long

He immediately scrambled to grab the handset before it hit the floor.

“Is everything all right?” Smith asked warily.

“Yes,” Charles began before what he was saying caught up to his brain. “No,” he amended quickly before words once again failed him. “…My what now?” he said finally, unable to keep the disbelief out of his voice.

“Your son, Mr. Xavier,” the woman said slowly, as though she was speaking to an idiot. “You don’t mean to tell me you didn’t know

“You have a son?” Raven asked for what might have been the thousandth time as she watched Charles throw things into his suitcase from her seat atop the writing desk

Charles did his best to hide his nervousness as he followed the straight-backed woman out of the office with the endless mound of paperwork and into the connected waiting room

David stared blankly at him for a few seconds after Charles finished his rather silly speech. Charles had almost given up hope for himself as a father when a tentative smile spread across the boy’s face

Aww this is adorable. I'm glad someones explore young father Charles (and not just of his adopted children either)because I could only image he would be not only the best father ever but also the most scariest. Can't wait for more!!
