is there a maximum amount of fics you can write for this? you said more than one is fine, but is there a cutoff?

nope! you can sign up for as many as you can conceivably finish. we recommend no more than 3, but the final number is up to you.

So do you mean you can write two fics- but do they both each have to have 15,000 words or together have 15,00 words?

each fic you sign up for has to be at least 15,000 words.

You can sign up for that when the artists sign up post goes up on October 1 :)

correct! your artist will be working off of the summary you submit. if the two of you want to make another arrangement after written works are claimed - for example, sharing fic excerpts with them - that's up to you but definitely not necessary/required.

you will need to keep it private, though we do recommend betas for all fics, so - we'll put up a beta sign-up post closer to the due date, and you can find someone there, or you can ask a friend to read it over privately for editing purposes.

if a fic is less then the needed word count, does it disqualify to be posted as part of the big bang?

Rough drafts due on Jan 20 must meet minimum word count. If you lose a couple hundred words during the editing process, we won't kick you out, though :)
