Just to verify that I understand the rules, mixers won't receive a copy of the fic that they choose to mix for, correct?

If the author who wrote the fic they're mixing for wants to share, they can (and mixers can request that mods ask authors for permission if they want) but it's possible they'll just have a detailed summary to go off of.

hello. =) I was wondering if you are going to have a beta sign-up post at any point? I don't know if this a concern for other people but I for one don't have a beta for this fandom and... yeah. ^_^;

Hi! Question for you: Are Spotify mixes allowed? I stopped doing fanmixes last year because of all of the filesharing legal issues, but I do miss it so.

Hi! I never got an answer on this - if Spotify mixes are allowed, I'd sign up to be a mixer.

Hi sorry! After discussing it with my comod, we've decided that, while we prefer a downloadable option to be available, internet-based mixes (as opposed to downloadable mixes) are acceptable; however, as Spotify isn't available in every country yet, we request that if you do not wish to provide a download option for the fanmix for people who cannot use Spotify, you instead use a website like 8tracks instead, which allows for universal listening (afaik).

Additionally, we will still need you to provide album art for whichever medium you choose.
