Well, considering art plays such a huge role in the book, I figured it was appropriate.

I used to love this book so, so much. I thought the painting thing was SO romantic when I was like, 11 or 12.

I also remember that record-as-a-hair-scrunchie thing all too well.

Did anyone else go through a boho phase where they wanted to be like good old Liv? I know I did...

It's very Claudia Kishi. Didn't she always wear crazy junk like that?

Yeah, and things like paperclips as earrings. Which is all very well and good, but if she caught an infection off them it wouldn't be good! Talk about teaching kids bad habits! Lol!

Oh my God, I loved this one too (in fact, I've been waiting for someone to recap it and I was not disappointed). So romantic, and how cool was Olivia with the record scrunchie and then with the "sophisticated" party dress. Also, the recap didn't mention it, but didn't she put a sprig of holly in her hair at the fancy rich people party and get some weird looks?

Thanks for the compliments, gang! I spent many long minutes slaving over those drawings.
