Today's episode comes from season four, and you know why? Because it's one of the many episodes to come that are based on my personal favourite SVH book miniseries, the  Betrayal collection with the Sweet Valley/Palisades brouhaha. Or as I like to call it, the Let's Call Each Other Absurd Names, Beat The Crap Out Of Everyone And Then Die From A Pool ( Read more... )

Cool summary! It was definitely upsetting to me when I discovered Christian Gorman's character had pretty much changed... and school changed... and everything else. Even though I haven't even read the book for about 5 years because my library doesn't have any of them anymore (T.T).

Well if you'd stolen it from your library like I had, you wouldn't be having that problem! You'd also be going to hell, though, so...

Well, I'm kind of just glad to see they're covering this plotline, because I really did love the books. Even though it sounds like they're not doing it justice at all. Still, this does have Todd's ROAR in it. That's pretty awesome.

Agreed. They're not doing the storyline justice, but at least they're doing it. It wasn't the worst episode, either.

I love your snarks like Todd loves punching. ♥

Also, that gif of him yelling is oddly mesmerizing... it's almost beautiful...

Legally Blonde icon for the win!

This whole he-said-she-said scene is fun, kinda like Grease, without the singing and naughty John Travolta.
Oh MAN, the mental image! Todd singing to the team about how they have to beat Big Mesa OR ELSE and Elizabeth singing to her cronies about how awful the rivalry is to, with Grease-style dancing. That just made my evening.

It doesn't help that Todd apparently can't read his own handwriting, and they come out like one of Charlie's dyslexic notes form It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia
I'm now picturing Todd as Mulan, reciting wisdom about "Reflect before you snack...I mean, act!"

Tell me 'bout it, stud!

I'm only disappoined that I couldn't add the hilarious wounded-animal sound he makes...
