OMG. That cover is hilarious. WE should pixelate all of them.

OMG, continuity! darkplumaged November 18 2008, 04:52:56 UTC
Believe it or not, the Wakefields DO have an above-ground pool at this point in time. Their in-ground pool is, I believe, installed early in the SVT series, maybe right before #3 (The Haunted House)?

Ooh, I didn't know that / had forgotten that. So, they do get bonus continuity points!

And THAT is why I don't eat animals!

Something similar happened to my mom when she was growing up, except it was a pet chicken named Phoebe. Phoebe was cooked and served for dinner, though and my poor mom was traumatized!

Ha! Excellent recap!

I sooo wish Bruce had shown up at some point. I'd have loved to see Bruce running away in sheer terror from Tom.

Oh, and that bit about Alice and the delivery guy had me thinking up all kinds of trashy romance novel plots.

Alice sighed as she tuned her children out once again. They were always demanding things like attention, food, proper parenting, and other crap Alice just couldn't be bothered with. Between her part-time interior design work and the psycho doppelgangers lurking around every corner, who had time for more than the occasional cameo to tie up loose ends after the kids' latest wacky adventure?

Just then, a delivery truck pulled up outside. The man had a crate for her, but as she looked at his dirty overalls and scruffy out-of-town look, she knew he could offer her so much more...

I was really wanting to slip in some line about exactly what she wanted to do with the dirty out-of-towner, but nothing quite this witty was coming to me.
