I didn't watch the Obama inauguration because a) I am allergic to politics of the ceremonial, pointless kind and b) the time zone thing made it confusing. But anyway. The US is a wonderfully diverse tapestry of people, and yet the tv is pretty bad about visually shorthanding black people = diversity. *facepalm*
