Why the hell don't I have a sushi icon for LJ? Hmmm?

This is a post about good things. Allow me to enumerate:

Had a great weekend in Vancouver, including:

• learned lots
  
• met friendly, smart folks (including Jared Spool, who's insightful, entertaining, and approachable)
  
• Met a good friend of arielmeow, who was super cool
  
• Hung out with rwx and poupou et al.

Had a good little weekend with Saucy. Highlights included dressing for the Vicar & Tart party, a good bike ride along Lake Washington and through Seward park, a sashimi snack from Mutal Fish, and a fantabulous dinner hosted by wasta and Dr. J. Had a good day with Saucy for her birthday yesterday. We had some excellent toro (and other sushi) at Fuji Sushi. After that we went to my friend Newman's place for his mellow birthday gathering. Good people, good cake, and each of them got their full quota of birthday spankings ( Read more... )
