Just a little while ago this evening, my mother and I were driving through a strip mall, on our way from the drugstore to Subway. My Monday night class is Women and Violence.  At our first meeting tonight, we watched Sleeping With the Enemy with Julia Roberts.  It's about an abused wife who fakes her death to escape her husband.  Naturally, he figures it out, comes after her, tries to kill her, etc.  Scary, but it ends well enough and it's just a movie.  I honestly felt fine ( Read more... )
