It occurred to me that if the recent Presidential election were a TV series, the fans would declare UST between Trump and Clinton and there would be disturbing amounts of fan fiction revolving around it. The outcome of the election would be the season cliffhanger. Next season would be the fallout and the epic bromance between Trump and Putin.

Just listen to the SENATOR is saying about the health care bill. I don't cuss normally but... WHAT. THE. HELL. And we have lazy idiots like that running our country? They -should- be able to understand what they are writing.

My mom went to an Anti-Tax Tea Party.  The last speaker said said they were expecting 500 people and that 6000 showed up.  I don't know if it was that many but I will check out the newspaper in the morning.

Why might I care about the election in Italy?  Well, in my first serious political science class, I had to write a term paper and my thesis covered the instabiltiy of the Italian government.  At that time, the Italian govenments rarely lasted more than two years but the current one, and longest running one, has lasted five.  This is a record for ( Read more... )

Today I went out with a partner and we polled people as they left after voting. The voting adimistrators were very nice. They let us stand in the entry way to the school, even thought we should have been 100 feet from the building. I might have even been on the news. A news guy came from the local Fox station and interviewed my partner. ( Read more... )
