Today is Veteran's Day. A day for remembering and being thankful for the sacrifices made on our behalf by the men and women that have served in the Armed Forces. It is currently the quiet time, as I call it, in my home. The time between when my husband goes off to work and my son gets in from school. It's my time to write and do as I like for a while. Even getting my thoughts into my journal can be trying with certain things going on.

We rang in the new year while watching King Arthur, the director's cut. I enjoyed the movie a great deal and it was nice to spend New Year's Eve with the family.
