Thursday, I made my semi-annual trip over to Class VI. For you non-military types, that's the package beverage/liquor store on Fort Hood. I got more white wine, Lambrusco, a four pack of Mudslide, and a couple of other items. I cook with wine and beer from time, so I like to have it on hand and ready to be used ( Read more... )

This morning was rough on all of us. I slept on the couch for about two hours, maybe three. I stayed in the living room to be next to Shottie. At times we all retreat to what we call our quiet or peaceful places. That is what the weekend looks like for me; reading, needlework, and maybe some time out with the other half.
