Tuesday, I got quite a bit accomplished. Cleaned up the house, did the laundry, made egg salad for dinner, and ran the weed eater around outline of the house and a couple of fence lengths. So.... yesterday I was taken out for Mother's Day. We did Mongolian Grille. Great food. Things Celtic is not open on Sundays, but we did get to Half Price Books, Dragon's Lair, and Book People, in Austin.

At Half Price Books I got: 2 books, a set of dollhouse plans, and and Agatha Christie audio book.

Over the years I have learned that using a kit can be a good way to get things in gear when you are starting a new hobby or craft. This soap binge that I'm on got started thanks to two kits (shown here as the Creative Soap Bar kit and Scrubbie Soap Kit) and a pile of extras (molds, scents, colors) that were half price or 75% off. My husband says that I have too many art/craft hobbies. I just wish I could figure out how to make money out of them. I've thought about craft fairs, etc., but my brain blips are getting more frequent.
