Yesterday and Other Ramblings
So.... yesterday I was taken out for Mother's Day. We did Mongolian Grille. Great food. Things Celtic is not open on Sundays, but we did get to Half Price Books, Dragon's Lair, and Book People, in Austin.
At Half Price Books I got: 2 books, a set of dollhouse plans, and and Agatha Christie audio book.
At Book People, I got: incense (Airs Air Elemental Sampler and their Dragon Cloud ) and the Druid Animal Oracle.
Between a change in plans and being too wiped from the day's activities to concentrate on having Rhi in the Talon Tournament, I did something else, a little impromptu play. Turned out ok, but didn't last long since I had to be up to make a 7 AM call to get himself a doctor's appointment.
I have to ask this, what is wrong with a pair of parents that leave three very small children sleeping in a hotel room with no one watching after them? I'm sure that many parents have have a moment when their child was injured or something strange happened that was a freak accident that haunts them. But that??? Oy, vey.
